You can earn badges that appear on your profile once you've completed a certain number of projects on the platform. Customers can see how many projects you've completed on the platform. How do I register as a professional?
Become a Basic professional, a Pro, or a Certified Pro by visiting the homepage! The "Become a Service Pro" link is located in the top right corner of the homepage. You will enter a bit of info which takes just a few minutes, verify your email address, and have the option to complete a background check and provide other details about your business. That it! We will do the rest to bring good qualified leads to you.
Where do I include my license and insurance information?
Your profile will have fields for you to fill out your license information and upload insurance documentation for customers to see.
If I submit a bid on a project and the customer accepts my bid, do I have to complete the project?
Yes, of course. Bids that are not serious will not be accepted. We may lower your rating or suspend your account if you do not complete the project after your bid is accepted. Let’s be true professionals.

What is a HomeSpruce Pro?
The HomeSpruce Pro subscription service enables pros to bid on open projects in their area and communicate freely with homeowners. The monthly fee is $79. In addition, subscribed pros receive a HomeSpruce Pro shield badge next to their name, and receive exclusive access to future features.
What if I want to cancel my HomeSpruce Subscription?
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time. If you do not cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew. The subscription must be canceled before it renews in order to avoid billing for the next period. No refunds are given for partial term cancellations.
I want to subscribe to HomeSpruce Pro, but I am not sure if it is worth it. Is there a free trial?
HomeSpruce Pro does not have a free trial, but you can sign up for HomeSpruce for free. You'll receive notifications when new projects are posted in your area once you sign up. If you're ready to subscribe, you can do so at any time. The only way to communicate with homeowners and connect on projects is to subscribe.
